The Season of Peace (SOP) program is a negotiated agreement to halt all violent activity for a defined period. SOP interventions have been organized in several US cities since 2015. SOP requires grass-roots engagement and preparation of faith and community leaders, law enforcement leaders, and policy leaders focused on initiating practical and holistic direct action in violence reduction.
